At Insight PS Limited, we have spent more than two and a half decades digging out front gardens, setting drainage falls, and laying driveways and patios across Manchester and the surrounding 30-mile radius. Proper Excavation & Base Prep
For block paving, tarmac, and resin-bound driveways, we excavate to solid ground, install a non-woven geotextile membrane, and build up a compacted Type 1 MOT stone sub-base. For Indian sandstone and natural stone patios, we lay slabs on a full wet mortar bed with SBR bonding primer so flags never rock, crack, or sound hollow underfoot.
Compliant Surface Drainage
Water must never be left to pool against your damp-proof course or run unchecked onto the public footpath. We set accurate spirit-level and laser falls from day one, installing heavy-duty ACO channel drains, recessed inspection manhole trays, and compliant soakaways positioned safely away from house foundations.
Tidy Logistics & Waste Care
As a registered waste carrier, all excavated spoil, old concrete, and turf are removed legally via skips or grab wagons. We put down heavy boards to protect turf and pathways during barrow runs, use water suppression on our Stihl saws when cutting stone or blocks, and sweep down the pavement and road every evening before leaving.
