Every photo below is from a real job completed by our own team across South Manchester, Trafford, Stockport, and North Cheshire. You can see both our finished surfaces and the heavy excavation, Type 1 MOT sub-bases, concrete edge haunching, and linear drainage channels that keep them level under daily vehicle weight.
Proper Excavation & Sub-Bases
Looking through our site progress photos, you will notice mini-diggers, heavy-duty geotextile membranes, and deep layers of compacted Type 1 hardcore. Digging out 200mm to 250mm of soft North West clay is the only way to stop a new driveway from rutting.
Solid Edge Restraints & Drainage
We bed all kerbs, charcoal borders, and stone setts into a wet concrete haunch before laying the main field of blocks, tarmac, or resin. Where ground slopes toward the house or highway, we fit ACO channel drains and recessed inspection covers flush with the surface.
Tidy Sites & Clean Finishes
Most residential driveways and patios take us between 3 and 7 working days from the first digger bucket to the final sweep. As a registered waste carrier, we clear all spoil responsibly and leave your frontage clean, swept, and ready to park on.
